Blackfield Motors Ltd is a motor dealership with three car showrooms in central England. With over 50 staff, including a finance manager and two accounts clerks in each showroom, the company has a separate current account for each showroom, plus group deposit, loan accounts and currency accounts. Internet Banking lets each finance manager access their showroom's accounts to view statements, pay invoices, download statement data to their accounting system and pay wages and salaries. At the same time, the managing director and dealership managers get an overall view of the company's financial position.
Oaklands Medical Centre
Oaklands Medical Centre is a local Glasgow doctors' surgery, with six GPs working together. They employ a further nine staff, whose salaries are paid via Internet Banking. The practice manager and the doctors all have full access to Internet Banking to pay supplier invoices, monitor income from health organisations, and manage Direct Debits and standing orders. The practice manager also downloads data from the practice's six accounting packages, which makes reconciling transactions much faster.
