Opened in 1999, our office now employs 20 professionals, offering a wealth of expertise in the provision of funding solutions, together with the promise of dedicated long-term support.

Focussing on corporate and structured finance lending, the team provides funding solutions to Benelux based medium and large sized companies. Clients include Blagden Packaging Group N.V., Yellow Brick Road B.V., Welzorg Nederland B.V., Fortress Participations B.V., Univar N.V. and Van Oord N.V.

Corporate and structured lending

Our loan book comprises a combination of secured and unsecured lending with a mixture of senior, junior and mezzanine debt, across a wide variety of sectors. We have experience in funding management buy-outs, management buy-ins, secondary buy-outs, corporate acquisitions, expansion finance and recapitalisations.

Real estate

Real Estate Europe ('REE') is a pan European real estate team with branches in London, Paris, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Madrid. The team includes a mix of banking and real estate professional skills and offers inventive real estate funding solutions across Europe.

Infrastructure finance

Bank of Scotland Corporate is the most experienced provider of PFI and PPP funding in the UK. Private sector finance for infrastructure projects is increasingly applied in the Benelux market. We aim to play a leading role in this growing sector by combining our knowledge of the local market with our substantial UK experience.

Asset finance

We create asset backed finance solutions for a variety of business assets such as cars and other equipment. Additionally, in conjunction with our UK colleagues, we offer solutions for aircraft and shipping including marine leisure.

Funding and liquidity sales

As well as providing corporate lending, our team offers corporate deposits to both existing and new clients. Bank of Scotland Corporate has a Standard & Poor's AA rating and is part of HBOS, one of Europe's largest banking groups. We constantly track the movements of the EONIA rate for our variable product, and the EURIBOR rate for our fixed rate product, to make sure we offer consistently competitive rates.
