New Face at Bank of Scotland Marine Finance

The UK’s leading provider of marine finance, Bank of Scotland Marine Finance announces the appointment of Jason Crump as Business Development Manager for North Wales, North of England and Scotland. Jason’s role will be to support boat retailers with their business funding needs, as well as offer retail finance for their individual customers. Jason, who starts on 23rd April, replaces Trudi McGregor, who recently emigrated with her family.
Jason joined the Bank in 1998 and has worked across many sectors of the business including direct loans, mortgages and business to business banking. Jason’s training within these areas and experience of presenting for the FSA (Financial Services Authority) and Regulated Sales, has gained him a wealth of knowledge in Business Banking, giving him a strong understanding of the sector.
Peter Whitehead, Director, Bank of Scotland Marine Finance welcomes Jason to the team: "Trudi’s position was always going to be a challenge to fill, and I feel confident we have the right person here. Jason’s previous career experience will be a huge asset to our team and in particular to the customers in his area."
On joining Bank of Scotland Marine Finance, 37 year old Jason expressed "I started boating as a child with my father, an ex-merchant Naval man who really started my passion for the sea. Now a family man myself my love affair with the water continues and I now own my own sports boat. This is a perfect role for me; to be able to merge my life-long passion of boating with my business career. I’m really looking forward to getting out and meeting customers – old and new."
