Important information in one place for our current range of bank accounts and accounts we are no longer accepting new applications for.

Current Bank of Scotland Bank accounts

Please note: From the 1st July 2018, we are making some changes.
The Platinum monthly account fee will increase from £17 to £19 per month.
For Platinum accounts the Mobile Phone Insurance excess will also change to £100 for all handsets.
You will also be limited to 2 successful Mobile Phone Insurance claims per account holder in a 12 month period.
Additionally, we will be changing the interest you can earn on Vantage accounts. The current interest rate of 2% AER/1.98% Gross variable, payable on balances between £1 and £5,000, will reduce to 1.5% AER/1.49% Gross variable. To earn interest, you will still need to pay at least two different Direct Debits each calendar month, pay at least £1,000 into your account during the calendar month, and stay in credit (above £0) during the monthly billing period. Mobile Phone Insurance is administered by Lifestyle Services Group Limited and underwritten by Assurant General Insurance Limited.
AA Breakdown Cover is provided by Automobile Association Developments Limited (trading as AA Breakdown Services). AA Stay Mobile and Accident Management Cover are underwritten by Acromas Insurance Company Limited.
