Understanding the reasons for a closure
To help you understand the reasons why we close a branch, we create two Closing Branch Review documents.
Part 1 lets you know how we made the decision - and is available when we let everyone know about the closure. Part 2 gives a summary of the feedback we get following conversations with the local community – and is available 2 weeks before the branch closes.

Understanding the impact on our customers
When making changes to our branch network, we always look to understand the impact on our customers – including how they continue to access banking services.
Because of this, we may sometimes have a Community Banker visit the area after the branch closes. Or as part of an independent review a Banking Hub or Deposit Service may be set up in a nearby location.
We are committed to following the requirements of the Financial Conduct Authority – 'FG 22/6: Branch and ATM closures or conversions.

And you can now use any of our branches for your everyday banking
The simplest and fastest way to do your banking is by using our app or online. But, if you need to use a branch, you can now also visit any Lloyds or Halifax branch. We’re proud to be part of a family.
In our Lloyds and Halifax branches, you’ll get the same friendly welcome and service you’re used to. You can do things like pay in cash and cheques, take out or transfer money, and pay bills. If you’d like to open a new account our colleagues will show you how, using our mobile banking app.
And if you have any accounts with Lloyds or Halifax , you can also manage them in any of our Bank of Scotland branches.
