Existing home insurance customers

We know that having to make a claim on your home insurance can be a stressful time so we want to make it as easy as possible.

To register a claim you need to give us a call on one of the numbers below. You'll need to find the 3 letter prefix to your policy number, you can get this from your policy documents. Make sure you’ve got the following handy when you call:

  • Your policy number
  • Full details of your claim
  • Any quotes you have received to put right the damage

GENERAL ENQUIRIES AND CLAIMS:

For policies with a start date of 7th June 2015 or which renewed on 10th July 2015 onwards 0345 604 6290

For policies with a start date between 23rd March 2015 and 6th June 2015 or which renewed between 23rd March 2015 and 9th July 2015 0345 604 6535

Call the number to arrange for a tradesperson to make any emergency repairs to:

  • Your plumbing, drainage or central heating systems.
  • Your gas or electricity supply systems if they fail.
  • Damaged roofing, locks, doors or windows to secure your home.

If you've chosen Home Emergency Cover, you may be able to claim the cost of the tradesperson, chosen by us, to deal with the emergency in respect of the call out charge and any materials necessary.

If you don't have Home Emergency Cover you’ll need to pay for the emergency repairs, but if the damage is covered by your policy, you can claim in the normal way.

Any legal liability, loss or damage to any property or person arising from the provision or delay of the repair services is not covered. The service is provided by Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc (RSA).
