Before you apply

To open an online investment product you will need to be registered for Internet Banking. You will need to hold a current account or savings account to be registered.

To apply for this account, you'll need to be


  • A UK resident or a crown employee serving overseas (or spouse / civil partner of)
  • Using a tablet, laptop or desktop as some parts of our application are incompatible with mobile devices
  • Aged 18 or over

You'll need the following details to hand


  • Your Internet Banking details
  • Your debit card and the sort code and account number of the bank account you wish to link to the online investment product
  • Your National Insurance number (if you’re opening an Investment ISA)

Investing in three easy steps

  1. Choose your account
    Login to Internet Banking and choose from our Investment ISA or Investment Account
  2. Complete your details
    Select from our three funds and complete your application online
  3. Invest online
    You can login to your account at any time to view your valuation and service your account

If you would like to transfer your ISA account to Bank of Scotland

  1. Open your Investment ISA
    Open your account through Internet Banking
  2. Fill in the online transfer form
    Login and complete our online ISA transfer form
  3. Send it to us
    Print your completed ISA transfer form, sign and post it to the address on the form.
