For access to advice from a Private Banking and Advice Manager, you’ll need at least £250,000 in savings, investments and/or personal pensions and/or a sole annual income of at least £250,000.
Before we provide you with any services or products, we will explain and agree with you what advice can be given, the products and services this advice covers and any charges that will apply.

Or if you’re just starting to think about inheritance, we can provide expert assistance on will writing through our third party providers, advice on Inheritance Tax Planning, as well as trust management services and estate administration.

Trust Management Service

A trust can help you protect your wealth, making sure the people who matter most to you are the ones who benefit, and in the way that you want them to. Trusts can also be tax efficient. We can help with setting up a trust to taking care of ongoing investment management and trust administration as a professional Trustee.

Estate Administration Service

Following a death, we can provide a highly personal service, taking care of almost everything involved with administering the Estate of the person who has died, including acting as an Executor if appointed.

Will Writing Service

Writing a will is essential to ensuring your money and property is passed on as you want it to be. The Will Writing Service is provided by law firm Hugh James for clients domiciled in England and Wales and for clients domiciled in Scotland, Hugh James will work together with law firm Brodies LLP. It gives you the reassurance that when you die your wishes are set out clearly and appropriately in a legal document.

Before we provide you with any services or products, we will explain and agree with you what advice can be given, the products and services this advice covers and any charges that will apply.

Advised services are provided by Bank of Scotland plc or Lloyds Bank plc dependent upon the nature of the advice. Our recommendations will be based on our understanding of your personal circumstances and plans at the time that we provide you with advice. For Advised services, we will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs. We only offer selected products from a limited number of companies. You can find out more about adviser fee charging and professional standards by visiting the FCA.

Non-advised services are provided by Bank of Scotland plc in relation to banking, savings and lending products. For non-advised services, you will not receive advice or a recommendation from us and you will need to make your own choice about how to proceed.

To arrange an appointment with one of our Private Banking and Advice Managers book an appointment online or call us. Lines are open Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00 (Tuesday and Thursday until 19:00) and Saturday from 09:00 to 13:00, excluding Bank Holidays.
