What is Safe Custody?
Safe Custody is a secure storage service which was offered to customers holding a current account.
You can't deposit new items anymore, but if you're already a member of the service you can still access your items.
Getting your items
Your items are stored at a secure location. We'll deliver them to branch for you if you want to withdraw any items.
Fees and charges
Fees are calculated using a daily rate for the number of days in store.

Fees for storage are charged every 6 months and debited to the associated Bank of Scotland account in January and July for the previous half year.

Fees for transportation are charged along with the storage fees in January and July for all activity in the previous half year.
