Ordering Travel Money
Foreign currency can be ordered online and then collected from your local branch or delivered to your home.
Ordering your Travel Money
If you're signed into the online service, from the 'Your accounts' page select the 'Apply online' tab in the right hand menu. Under the heading 'Day to Day' select the 'Travel Money' link and follow the on-screen instructions.
Alternatively, you may visit our Travel money section to place your order.
You can order up to 14 days in advance and have your travel money delivered to your door, or choose a branch from which to collect your order, select 'Branch collection' in the Delivery Method dropdown box and follow the on-screen instructions.
You can use our branch finder to choose a suitable collection branch.
When you submit your completed order, you'll be given a confirmation number – keep this safe as you'll need it when you collect your order. You will also receive an e-mail containing your order details.
Collecting your Travel Money
When you visit your branch to collect your order, you’ll need to take your order confirmation number/e-mail, photographic ID (EU passport or EU driving licence) and the payment card used to place the order.
Collection / delivery times
Travel Money orders completed online before 12pm Monday to Thursday will be available for collection at your chosen branch after 4pm on the following bank working day. Orders placed on a Friday before 12pm will be available for collection after 4pm the following Monday.
Orders completed after 12pm, or on a Saturday, Sunday or bank holiday will be available for collection at your chosen branch after 4pm on the second bank working day.
If you have chosen to have your travel money delivered to your home and place your order by 12pm, this will normally be delivered to your home by 4pm the next working day.
Please note that delivery may take slightly longer to more remote branch locations.
