How to notify us if you’re the next of kin
We understand that this can be a very difficult time, so we’re here to help by making things as simple and straightforward as possible.
We have specially trained bereavement advisers who can talk you through the process. They can provide help on what to do regarding accounts and how to pay bills, at no cost.
We recommend you call us or visit us in branch to talk to a bereavement adviser.

If you're not ready to talk just yet
If you’re not ready to talk to a bereavement adviser directly, you can start the process by filling out a form online. Then when you’re ready to continue the process you can call us on 0800 056 0073 or drop into your local branch.
By filling out the form, we’ll stop any future marketing letters, emails and texts. You can also choose to freeze any current accounts and savings accounts if you want. Keep in mind this will stop any incoming payments as well as outgoing payments, like bills and Direct Debits.
