If you’d like to transfer money from your Share Dealing Account into your Stocks and Shares ISA, you may be able to do this online.
We can only transfer money into an active ISA. Please note that instructions received for inactive ISAs won’t be completed.
To check if your ISA is active, visit the Valuation Page and check that the Account Status shows as ‘Okay to Trade’. If the status shows as ‘Suspended’, this can be re-activated on the ‘Fund and Withdraw’ screen in Account Management with the ISA portfolio selected.
If the status shows as “Closed” or anything other than “Okay to Trade” or “Suspended” you should contact us for further information.
We process all requests based on the date they are submitted, even when this falls on a weekend or bank holiday.
Forms submitted on or before the final day of the tax year (05 April) will be treated as instructions for the current tax year.
If you want your instruction to count toward the next tax year, you should submit it from the first day of the new tax year (06 April).
If we’re unable to process your instruction for the tax year submitted, we will decline the request and you may resubmit it in the new tax year.
