Help with PIN issues
Manage online and in person
- You can solve many PIN issues online.
- View your PIN securely in our Mobile Banking app.
- Change your PIN at most UK Cashpoints®.
For security reasons, we will not provide your PIN over the phone.

The simplest way to get a PIN reminder is in our app.
To get a PIN reminder
- Log in to our app. Choose Manage card on the bottom right of the app.
- Select View PIN. Swipe to select relevant card. You will only be able to view PIN on active cards.
- Select and hold the Reveal PIN button. Once you have seen your PIN, release the Reveal PIN button to hide it from view.

If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times while shopping, your PIN will be locked. You can unlock it at most UK Cashpoints.
To unlock your PIN
- Put in your card and enter your PIN.
- Select PIN Services then Unlock your PIN.
- All done, your PIN has been unlocked.
If you are abroad, you’ll be able to unlock your PIN at most Cashpoints once you return to the UK.
When abroad, you're able to withdraw cash at any bank with the Visa sign. You may need to give proof of identity.

If you enter your PIN incorrectly three times at a Cashpoint, your PIN will be blocked.
Message us in our app if you need help to unblock your card. If you don’t use our app you can call us, or visit us in branch.

You can change your PIN at most UK Cashpoints.
To change your PIN
- Put in your card and enter your PIN.
- Select PIN Services then your own PIN.
- Enter your new PIN and select enter.
- Confirm your PIN and select enter.
- All done, your PIN is now changed.

If someone knows your PIN, you need to speak to us.
