Buildings insurance

A range of Buildings Insurance benefits

Our buildings insurance protects your private residence and its fixtures and fittings against risks such as fire, subsidence, vandalism and storm.

You also get a range of reassuring benefits as standard, including:

  • Alternative accommodation - if your home is made uninhabitable by an insured event.
  • Accidental damage to underground services - such as underground pipes or drains belonging to you.
  • Property Owner's Liabilty - in case of claims made against you by visitors who get injured following an accident at your home.

Our buildings insurance also covers your roof and any permanent fixtures in your home, such as plumbing, wiring and kitchen/bathroom fittings. It also protects a wide range of things within the boundary of your home, including your garden walls, paths, driveways, patios, fixed solar panels and hot tubs.
