The Internet Banking agreement will include the terms and conditions for Internet Banking and for some of our additional online services. The Additional Services are Everyday Offers, Pay a Contact, paperless statements and correspondence, and mobile alerts services. Not all of these services may be available to you, but if you use any of them on or after 2 September 2016, the updated Internet Banking agreement will apply. When will the updated Internet Banking agreement be effective from?

The updated Internet Banking agreement will be effective from 2nd September 2016. The changes within the Internet Banking agreement apply regardless of how you access Internet Banking.

What is included in the updated Internet Banking agreement?

The Internet Banking agreement includes terms and conditions for Internet Banking and some of our additional online services. The Additional Services are Everyday Offers, Pay a Contact, paperless statements and correspondence and mobile alerts services. Not all of these services may be available to you, but if you use any of them on or after 2 September 2016, the updated Internet Banking agreement will apply.

What if I don’t accept the Internet Banking agreement?

If you don’t accept the changes, you can stop using or cancel your Internet Banking and Additional Services at any time. You can do this by calling our Internet Banking helpdesk on 0345 602 0000 or visiting us in branch.

How will I be notified in the future of any changes to Internet Banking and the Additional Services?

If we need to contact you about Internet Banking or the Additional Services, we will normally do so through your Internet Banking secure inbox. We may also communicate with you in any other way that is personal to you. This can include email, SMS, post, in-app notifications or any other appropriate messaging service.
