Personal review

What is a personal review?

A personal review is a free, informal meeting aimed at getting the most from your money. Our Banking Consultant will look into your spending with you and see how they can help. Your personal review will take place in branch and will last around 1 hour.

Features and benefits of a personal review

  • A free review with a Banking Consultant.
  • You’ll be in good hands with our Banking Consultants. They work closely with mortgage, wealth and Business Banking specialists. They may refer you to them if they feel you could benefit from their support.
  • See if you can save money or earn more interest by restructuring your money.
  • Learn more about our products and services that may suit your needs.
  • You can take your time to make any decisions; no pressure.

What should I bring with me?

  • If you bank online or use our Mobile Banking app, you'll need a device with internet access to hand, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop.
  • Your National Insurance number.
  • If you need to open any new accounts, or don’t currently bank with us you will need proof of your identity. For this, bring in one government-issued document - such as a full driving licence or passport. You’ll also need one extra document to confirm your address, such as a council tax bill, bank statement or utility bill.
  • Information about products you hold with other financial organisations. Examples of these could be balance and interest rate details for your current account, credit cards, loans, savings, mortgage and home insurance.

What should I expect from a personal review?

  • A welcome call in preparation for your appointment.
  • A review of your money – total income, primary payments and any remaining money.
  • An in-depth look at your spending to understand where your money is being spent.
  • Help with any changes so you can make your money go further.
